Silverstone Auctions 2018

Silverstone Auctions attended the IXL Events Centre for their 2018 auction. They hosted two days of sales, one of which was specifically focused on auctioning 42 Porsche’s. With estimates from between £16,000 up to £650,00 it was the ultimate collection with something for everyone. The star of the show was the 1963 Porsche 356 C Carrera 2 2000 GS Coupe. It is extremely rare and desirable one of only six right-hand-drive coupes of its type built, and with a hefty estimate of £550,000 to £650,000.

The second day ‘The September Sale’ boasted 51 cars from brands such as Lotus, Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Jaguar, Maserati, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and many more. Our personal favourite is the 1950 Jaguar XK120 Roadster although it would look far more fitting in the French Riviera than around the grounds within the Dallas Buston Polo Club.
