IXl Events Centre wins Best Purpose-Built Venue at Mawa Awards 2018

On Saturday 1st December 2018 the IXL Events Centre attended the Third Annual Midlands Asian Wedding Awards, hosted at The Vox Centre, Birmingham. The awards aim to showcase the wealth of talent across the midlands especially within the luxury weddings industry. 

After the welcoming and main event, the awards were then in full swing with 18 awards being handed out across the night. The IXL Events Centre was nominated in the category for best purpose built venue. The competition was tough with the likes of The Vox, Prestige Suite, ICC and The Motorcycle Museum all competing for the same award. 

Each venue was scored on a combination of public and judges voting, application form and supporting evidence. Once the overall scores were calculated the winner was announced.

We’re thrilled to announce that the IXL Events Centre came first in our category and ultimately won best purpose built venue 2018 for a second time running. We’d like to thank everyone who voted for us and we look forward to many more future successes to come.
